We were impressed by highest quality meals served on board the train including off board dining experiences, personal attentiveness of chefs & team for our special food need throughout the journey. Beautifully designed Heritage of India Itinerary (which we travelled) showcased hidden riches of india & its breathtaking beauty as well as its diversity of cultures. We have done other modes of travel in the past but this one by far has been the best & most enjoyable. The train trip is something we have wanted to do for a long time & Maharaja Express is a fantastic train. Absolutely beautiful but the best part about the whole journey has been the staff. Everyone is so polite, friendly & genuinely helpful. Their dedication is second to none. The Artwork, Architecture, Engineering & History has been almost overwhelming to take in over a week. Our journey on Maharaja Express was luxurious, unforgettable, and well-organized. The train's opulent decor, spacious cabins to the exquisite dining experiences with exceptional service. Indian Splendor encompassed prominent places like Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, jodhpur & the lake city of Udaipur concluding at Mumbai. For train lovers it is an absolute luxury & unique way to experience India's rich culture and heritage so often seen in various campaigns of Incredible India, We felt pampered and treated like royalty, with staff ready to cater our specific preferences for meals. We enjoyed staying in Suite cabin. This train travels at night and the tour bus, to maintain consistency, travels at night to the next destination so you always have the same bus and no surprises. The tours were curated to cover the gamut of culture, history, fun, food and just some very cool things to do during our stay in India . we were very happy to see the traditional welcomes at each and every stop as we clicked a lot of snaps….. A fantabulous journey through the alluring lands.
